The contract starts on 1 October 2026 or as agreed and continues until the end of May 2027. The guiding principles in Kaarina emphasize positive pedagogy and warm interaction with the educator. Work is performed with enthusiasm, positivity and a people-centered approach. We are open to development projects and innovations. The successful applicant will work in a group for under-3s as a personal assistant to a child who requires constant assistance in daily daycare life. The role focuses on daily basic care and involves a lot of physical assistance, such as lifting and carrying. The person we hire should have a positive attitude and a willingness to commit to assisting a single child in collaboration with the rest of the team and the special education teacher. Experience with different assistive devices, first aid skills, and studies or relevant work experience in education or care are advantageous. The Kairiskulman daycare has recently opened in a new building (as of August 2025) with eight child groups and a comfortable, calm and safe environment for pedagogy. The selected candidate must provide a background check (police records) in accordance with the law. Tuberculosis risk assessment is required for those working with under-6s.
