Your role as an Azure Architect You won’t get bored as an Azure Architect here: you’ll take part in a range of projects involving the design, construction, development and modernisation of Azure environments and architectures. You will typically have around two to three projects on your desk at a time. Your main task is to create the best possible cloud infrastructure for our customers together with their application developers, IT professionals and business teams. Your project work may range from cloud strategy to practical technical implementation. You will be supported by a group of top cloud professionals and enthusiastic future stars working on larger solutions. What do we expect from you? You may be an experienced Azure and Microsoft technology professional, an IT architecture specialist, a software professional who codes in the cloud, or a cloud-oriented senior systems administrator who wants to move beyond the challenges and limitations of running your own data centres. You could be our Azure Architect if, in addition to technical expertise, you can take on varied Azure and Microsoft infrastructure challenges with a positive, solution-oriented attitude. You can design complete solutions and discuss the best options with customers, while also being happy to get hands-on with implementation. You want your contribution to help create Finland’s best customer experience. You’ll succeed in this role if, in addition to the above, you have expertise in: - Designing, building and developing Azure environments and architectures - Azure proofs of concept and assessments, deployments, and migrating workloads to Azure from traditional data centres or other public clouds - Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies and services - Automation and scripting, for example Terraform and PowerShell - DevOps culture and/or Azure DevOps - Looking at Azure services from the perspective of application development and/or data management needs - Azure DevOps Engineer or Azure Solution Architect certifications, equivalent-level expertise, or a strong desire to develop your skills to that level Questions?
