Solution Architect

We are looking for a Senior Solution / Cloud Architect with strong experience developing medical software products (Software as a Medical Device, SaMD) and designing architectures in a regulated medtech environment. Practical experience with SaMD products and applying MDR requirements throughout the product lifecycle and in technical solution design is particularly important. We are seeking an experienced architect who understands the specific requirements of medical software and can combine them into a functional, secure and scalable overall architecture. Azure and cloud architecture expertise is important when designing the solution’s target architecture and defining technical solutions. We especially value demonstrated experience designing or developing the architecture of an SaMD product in an MDR-regulated environment. Alongside Azure expertise, it is essential to understand the requirements of medical software products and apply them to practical architectural solutions. Requirements: We hope candidates have practical experience developing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions and taking MDR requirements into account. Experience designing and implementing medical software architectures as part of regulated product development is particularly relevant. Key areas of expertise and responsibilities include: • Defining and designing the solution’s target architecture. • Strong Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture expertise. • Designing identity and access management (IAM). • Specifying logging and monitoring solutions. • Taking scalability, security and reliability into account in the architecture. • Planning data retention and lifecycle management. • Assessing opportunities to use and the suitability of the existing MedicalSuite infrastructure as part of the target architecture.
