Mobile Service Technician

We are seeking a mobile service technician for Labo Line for a permanent position. In the role, you will service laboratory and hospital equipment at customers’ premises, and your field of work will cover all of Finland. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing Finnish family business, so act quickly! As a mobile service technician, you will be part of an efficient and experienced service team. Your work will include a wide range of installations, fault repairs and scheduled maintenance for laboratory and hospital equipment at the premises of customers such as hospitals, universities and research institutes. The equipment includes refrigeration, heating and washing devices as well as autoclaves. We do not require applicants to have previous knowledge of these devices; we will provide comprehensive onboarding to your duties and the equipment range. Work is generally performed on weekdays between 8:00 and 16:00. You will have a company service vehicle for travel between customers. Journeys to worksites can sometimes be long, and work trips are estimated to involve 30–50 overnight stays per year. Our office is in Helsinki, but because most equipment is serviced at customer sites around Finland, you can work from the Helsinki metropolitan area or, for example, Lahti, Tampere, Jyväskylä or Kuopio. We require: - A technical educational background and familiarity with hand tools used in installation work. - Flexibility with working hours and readiness to travel. - The ability to work independently in a responsible role. - Proficiency in Finnish and English. - A category B driving licence. Previous experience in maintenance and installation work is considered an advantage, but it is not essential. The most important things are high work motivation, a desire to develop in varied maintenance and installation work, and a willingness to learn new things.
