The position starts on 2 September 2026 or by agreement and lasts until 31 July 2027. The team also includes a kindergarten teacher and a social welfare professional. Eligibility is defined by the Finnish Child Welfare Act (540/2018) § 28; for the position of child day care worker, a foundation qualification in education and guidance or a bachelor’s level degree in social and health care or an equivalent applicable qualification, with sufficiently wide components of child care, upbringing and teaching, is required. A criminal background check is required under the act on background checks for those working with children (504/2002) section 6(2). A probationary period applies to the employment relationship.
