Manual Machinist

We are looking for a Manual Machinist for our client in Raahe. The role involves performing a variety of turning and milling tasks both in the workshop and at customer production environments. You will work mainly with manual machines such as lathes and milling machines, solving practical machining and repair needs where production equipment is in use. Primary duties include manual machining on lathes and mills, performing machining and repair work at customer sites, tasks related to restoring machines and components, interpreting technical drawings, precise measurement and ensuring quality, and working independently in different environments. The workplace is modern and safety-focused, with an emphasis on high quality workmanship, responsibility, and effective collaboration. We welcome a candidate with experience in manual machining or vocational training in metal industry, strong reading of technical drawings, confident use of measuring instruments, a proactive and responsible attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in Finnish is required, and a driving licence (B) with willingness to travel to customer sites is important. Prior on-site machining experience is an advantage, but the role can also grow through other applicable machining skills. The job is day-shift with occasional evening shifts; salary will be based on your skills and experience.
