About the team: You’ll report to the CEO & Co-founders and work with the executive leadership team across functions like Finance, People, Legal, Creative, Buying & Merchandising, Sales, Customer Success, and Support. About the role: We’re looking for an experienced COO to partner with the CEO and lead the business through its next growth phase with end-to-end ownership across operations, finance, revenue, people, legal and logistics. You will build the systems and discipline required to scale efficiently and sustainably, driving operational excellence and financial performance. What you’ll do: lead strategic and operational planning, build and scale core functions, drive metrics and accountability, manage budgeting and forecasting, and oversee fundraising and partnerships as needed. What you’ll need: proven senior operational or general management experience in high-growth settings, track record of scaling marketplaces or SaaS, cross-functional collaboration, and a hands-on leadership style. Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, leadership team, and Board on company performance and strategic direction
  • Co-develop and execute the company’s operational and financial strategy
  • Translate long-term vision into clear, actionable plans and measurable outcomes
  • Own and scale core business functions: operations, finance, revenue, people, legal, and logistics
  • Build and optimise systems, processes, and infrastructure to support rapid growth
  • Drive operational rigour and alignment across all departments
  • Lead company-wide planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Establish and track key metrics to measure performance and inform decision-making
  • Regularly assess business performance to guide priorities
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operating team
  • Partner with leadership to prioritise resources effectively during growth and transformation
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Lead due diligence and commercial negotiations related to fundraising, partnerships, and M&A activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior operational, financial, or general management role within a high-growth company
  • Track record of scaling businesses, ideally within a marketplace, e-commerce, or SaaS environment
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with expertise in metrics, reporting, and modern data tools
  • Demonstrated ability to drive both top-line growth and operational efficiency
  • Experience working cross-functionally with GTM, product, and operations teams to deliver strategic outcomes
  • Builder mentality with a hands-on, execution-focused approach
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and align teams around ambitious goals
  • High emotional intelligence, humility, and a collaborative leadership style
