The job is for a site logistics worker for the Helsinki metropolitan area. We are looking for a practical and proactive person who will be the right-hand to our supervisors in a permanent, full-time position in a growing and solid company. The role involves working on welding and earthmoving sites, assisting supervisors, and handling tasks on site as directed. Responsibilities include acting as an auxiliary to welding and earthmoving sites, fetching supplies from the main warehouse by van, maintaining order and cleanliness of warehouses and sites, fulfilling hot-work supervisor duties, assisting HIAB operators on sites, performing practical tasks defined by supervisors, and possibly expanding into insulation work when opportunities arise. Ideal candidate values reliability, motivation, and a good attitude; required items include B-driver’s license, own car, valid hot-work card, traffic safety card, occupational safety card, fluent Finnish, good work ethic, practical hands-on approach, and tool-handling ability. Previous experience from sites, welding, or earthmoving is an advantage; references from previous employers are welcome. We offer permanent full-time employment with a salary according to the Teknologiateollisuuden collective agreement based on experience (13–14 EUR/hour), a daily non-taxed meal allowance of 13.50 EUR, daily overtime pay, quality warm workwear, opportunities to learn more and expand duties, and a friendly professional team. Workdays start from Lommila, Espoo and can vary by site around the Helsinki area. Normal hours are Mon–Fri 07:00–15:00, with occasional longer days depending on sites.
