Personal Assistant

A personal assistant is needed for a movably abled elderly couple born in 1976. The position is a temporary replacement at least until the end of September; working hours are around 8:30 am to 4 pm, up to three weekdays. There is potential for permanent day shifts and/or evening shifts. No specialized professional qualifications are required; the employer will train the worker. We are looking primarily for a reliable, committed, and honest female assistant. One partner uses a wheelchair or electric wheelchair for mobility; a turner is available for transfers if needed. The other partner is small and can move independently but may need help lifting. Tasks include assistance with daily home activities such as bathing and toilet visits, helping with cooking and housework, and assisting outside the home for errands and hobbies. Occasionally there may be small trips to Helsinki or Tampere. The home has three pet rabbits, so the helper may need to assist with their care. The employer adheres to the test period stipulated in the Employment Contracts Act. The wage is according to B1 pay grade, 13.73€ – 15.14€ per hour, with possible experience supplements; hourly compensation follows HetaTES. The employer is a member of the Heta union.
