Team Leader at Attendo Kuukkeli, Salla – we are here for you. Attendo Kuukkeli is a 19-bed elderly home where it is central that every resident is treated as their own person and lives a full life. We are looking for a nurse with a positive and warm attitude who is excited about resident care and supporting the team. It is important that you act calmly and decisively even in challenging situations. Together with the home manager and the rest of the team you build the Kuukkeli home’s operating culture, create functional operating methods, and enable our residents to have a safe, individualized and meaningful everyday life. As Team Leader you are the backbone of the Attendo home and a trusted colleague to the home manager. Your professional skills are trusted and your views valued. You assist the home manager in planning and guiding daily work and provide professional support to staff. The role is a great opportunity to gain experience in nursing home leadership and develop a career in care-sector roles. You will perform daily care and well-being for residents, medication administration and self-care, enable meaningful daily life for residents, collaborate with various stakeholders, coordinate RAI assessments and service implementation plans and assist in updating them, participate in care meetings with families together with care workers, ensure implementation of self-monitoring and medication plans and collaborate with physicians, monitor onboarding of new staff, and chair weekly team meetings and take part in them. We require: nursing degree, vaccination protection for the duration of employment, hygienic pass or readiness to obtain it within three months of starting, criminal record extract for longer-than-three-month employment when working with minors/elderly/disabled, social and health card.
