Civil Engineering Construction Engineer

We are looking for you to join our motivated and committed team in the urban–environment service center’s civil engineering division to deliver high-quality services to residents. In Vihdi, the civil engineering division employs about 20 professionals responsible for earthworks, traffic areas and green areas. You are the person we are looking for if you have a suitable engineering degree, e.g. civil engineering, and experience in municipal infrastructure procurement. We also require knowledge of procurement law and client obligations, good IT skills, strong interpersonal abilities, good Finnish language skills, independence, and initiative. We also value knowledge of municipal administration and public sector processes. As a civil engineering construction engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out construction projects and their financial monitoring. The role includes close cooperation with state projects with the Centre for Economic Development (Elinvoimakeskus) and the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency (Väylävirasto). Your tasks also include work-safety coordination duties and tasks related to taking over general areas in construction projects. A personal car is required for the job. The position is covered by a 6-month probationary period.
