
ICT Associate
The ICT Associate - Head of ICT Unit will provide leadership and coordination in delivering high-quality ICT services. The role requires strategic planning, infrastructure management, team supervision, and compliance with corporate ICT policies. The ICT Associate - Head of ICT Unit promotes a client-oriented approach and leads ICT support operations for CP and associated offices. Scope includes strategic planning and project management, operational management and support, network and security management, security and risk management, IT project coordination and administration, reporting and documentation, and financial and billing management. The incumbent will lead a national ICT team and coordinate with UNDP ICT Unit and partner agencies. Qualifications include secondary education with formal IT training or a university degree; minimum 7 years (with high school) or 4 years (with bachelor’s) of ICT experience; fluency in English and Arabic; Kurdish desired. Responsibilities
- Lead the common premises ICT team and coordinate the implementation of ICT activities and services.
- Coordinate integration of ICT assets and systems.
- Oversee decommissioning and repurposing of ICT infrastructure.
- Develop local ICT budgets, procurement forecasts, and asset management reports.
- Manage local IT support operations and supervise staff and contractors.
- Liaise with national service providers for procurement and service delivery.
- Collaborate on network and security management; monitor security incidents.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years (with high school diploma) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant working experience in development and implementation of ICT strategies, management and supervision of ICT services and teams, hardware and software platforms, telecommunications facilities, and knowledge of Windows-based packages/applications.
