Golden Spirit is a Helsinki-based sports club founded in 1997 focused on cheerleading and cheer dance. In 2025 we celebrate 30 years. We are the only cheerleading club to hold all three Star Club awards from the Finnish Olympic Committee and in 2026 were chosen as the Year Club by the Finnish Cheerleading Federation. With over 1000 members, we move and coach weekly about 4000 athletes across about 40 teams aged 4–64. We are now seeking a motivated coaching manager for a full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours/week). As our coaching manager you will create and later implement a stronger unified coaching line from junior to senior teams, and you will play a central role in planning the club’s new strategy. You will work as a line manager to over 100 team coaches, supporting them in coaching matters and reporting to the executive director and club board. The role is not primarily team coaching, but you may cover in emergencies and wherever you are most needed. We value collaboration, creativity, perseverance, boldness in decision-making, and a passion for developing the club’s activities. We offer the chance to work in a growing sport in a large club, a role with central influence in shaping a new coaching approach and strategy, and a dynamic, forward-looking work community. The sport of cheerleading and cheer dance may not be familiar to you, but prior experience is advantageous. Work is mainly done at our Kultahalli office in Kaarelan Arena Center, but teams also practice in Myllypuro, Tapulikaupunki and central Helsinki (Olympiastadion). The coaching manager is expected to be present in evenings and weekends when teams operate. Interviews will take place in weeks 38 and 39; we may invite applicants during the application window, so apply early. For more information contact our chairman and operations director at their emails or by phone 050 533 7656 on Fri 4 Sept 12:00–14:00 and Wed 9 Sept 13:00–15:00. Please attach your CV, references and salary expectations. Note: a criminal-record extract is required per law. Please join us to take the club to the next level!
