Production Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and goal-oriented production supervisor for a permanent full-time position. In this role you will be responsible for the operative leadership, development and efficiency of the extrusion department. You will lead and develop a team of 35 extrusion and regranulation professionals working in both semi-continuous and continuous three-shift operations. As a supervisor, you will manage the department’s operations in a holistic manner, ensuring production safety, personnel management, quality, efficiency and continuous process improvement. Key responsibilities include: - Operational leadership and development of the extrusion department - Ensuring and enhancing production efficiency, quality and delivery reliability - Leading and developing the staff - Continuous improvement of production processes and analysis of disturbances and root causes - Achieving safety, quality and environmental objectives - Monitoring, analysing and reporting production KPIs - Collaboration with the group’s different operations and international stakeholders We expect from you: - Appropriate technical education - Strong experience in supervisory roles within an industrial environment - Prior experience from packaging or plastic industry is a plus - Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills: ability to communicate, lead, cooperate and learn - Consistent, clear and inclusive leadership style that builds trust and shared direction - Demonstrated production development and continuous improvement practices - Ability to organise complex tasks, prioritise and ensure goal achievement - Understanding of production safety, quality and efficiency requirements - Experience in working in a shift environment and leading it - Fluent Finnish and English written and spoken skills We offer: - A diverse and responsible role in an internationally family-owned company - Opportunity to influence production efficiency, quality, safety and development - Long-term personal and leadership development opportunities - An international group environment with wide collaboration network - Support from a skilled factory organisation - Health insurance and ePassi benefit In this role we follow the Chemical Industry’s senior staff collective agreement.
