Care home director for older people at Attendo Valkeinen in Suonenjoki – We are here for you! We are looking for a new director for our care home for a permanent position. As the current director moves to a new role within Attendo, there is an opportunity to take responsibility for a well-functioning Attendo home and a motivated, skilled work community. As director, you are a key person in the Attendo home. You are responsible for the entire home’s operations and achieving its overall objectives, and as a supervisor you help your team flourish. You develop the quality of the Attendo home and collaborate with different stakeholders. The work is teamwork, but requires the ability to take initiative, make independent decisions and solve problems creatively. Valkeinen has two homely group homes that provide round-the-clock, professional and individualised care and support. Each resident is assigned a personal carer and an individual care plan is prepared. There are 31 resident places. What will you get to do? - Handle personnel matters. - Develop and monitor the operations of the Attendo home. - Collaborate with different parties, including relatives, commissioners and other partners. The position is full-time and permanent. We can agree on the start date with you. We hope you can start as soon as possible. What do we hope for from you? - A suitable higher-education degree in social and healthcare. - At least two years of work experience with older people. - Leadership competence: one to two years of leadership experience or leadership studies totalling 20–30 credits. - Vaccination protection as referred to in section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act, to protect clients and patients throughout the employment relationship. - A criminal-record extract will be checked when employment begins.
