Pilotage Broker

Finnpilot’s pilotage center in Helsinki coordinates pilotage across Finland 24/7, year-round. The pilotage broker role includes receiving pilot orders and advance information from vessels and their representatives, planning and organizing piloting movements in accordance with orders, and responsibilities related to maintaining and developing a smooth piloting process. We are looking for a self-driven, customer-service-oriented person with good organizational skills and stress tolerance in a sometimes hectic work environment. Also requested are good Finnish and English language skills; Swedish knowledge is a plus, and basic IT skills. Maritime knowledge is beneficial for performing duties. We offer an interesting and challenging position in maritime operations, training on tools in use, and a supportive work community. Finnpilot’s pilotage center is located in Helsinki’s Roihupolku area on Tammasaarenkatu. The job is office-based. Salary and terms are determined by the pilotage sector collective agreement. A health check and drug test are performed at the start.
