Tullin esikunta is responsible for leadership and development support, legal services, international affairs and organizational security. The organizational security function designs, coordinates and harmonizes the organization’s security and readiness, ensuring compliance with laws and various criteria and recommendations. The Security Manager role includes overseeing organization-wide security and readiness planning, coordination, development, monitoring and communication, producing situational information and reports for management, leading the security steering group, and preparing security matters for the Commissioner or department head or Executive Committee. The Security Manager leads the organizational security group and acts as its supervisor, ensuring all assigned tasks related to security are carried out, including internal audits, risk management, administrative security, facility security, personnel security and stakeholder security. The role may also serve as the tullis readiness manager, responsible for readiness and preparedness planning, coordination, situation awareness, personnel and material reservations (VAP) and organizing, coordinating and directing rescue and protection operations.
