The Jyväskylä city education unit seeks a part-time hourly teacher for the mother tongue Kare (Kare oma äidinkieli) in basic education for a fixed-term period from 1 October 2026 to 31 July 2027. The role involves teaching the mother tongue and home language to pupils aged 6–16, 2 hours per week, at a location to be agreed with the teacher. Required qualifications follow the Education personnel decree 986/1998: teacher qualification in primary school, special education, or language teaching.
