We are seeking a registered nurse for a permanent position in Kirkkonummi home care to strengthen our committed and skilled nursing team. Home care is divided into five regional teams, where registered nurses, practical nurses and home helpers work. In home care, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team and use a rehabilitative approach in client work. Our goal is to support clients’ good everyday lives and their ability to live at home. Clients are cared for according to agreed care and service plans, and the work takes place in their own homes. Work in home care is varied and independent. Good interaction skills, responsibility and teamwork skills are emphasised. We use the Lifecare patient records system and the Lifecare operational management system. In addition to your own team, you will be supported by other home-care teams, home-care supervisors, therapists and a home-care doctor. The registered nurse acts as the nursing specialist for the overall services provided to the team’s clients. The work is responsible and varied teamwork. The nurse contributes to developing the team’s and workplace’s activities and the quality of care, and is a member of multidisciplinary networks. The work is daytime work. There are also occasional weekend on-call shifts during morning hours. You can influence your own shifts. You need a driving licence for the work. A work car with manual transmission may be used. You will receive your own work phone and work clothes. Interviews will begin during the application period. The starting date will be agreed. We provide comprehensive, high-quality induction for the role. Your monthly salary is determined by your duties. Workplace: Kirkkonummi Wellbeing Centre, Jokiniityntie 2. Working time: 114.45 hours per three weeks. The position is permanent. Eligibility requirement: licensed registered nurse. The role requires vaccination protection under section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis assessment under section 55. Employees selected for the employment relationship may occasionally be asked for a drug test certificate under the Länsi-Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County substance-abuse programme. The selected person must provide a criminal-record extract required under section 28 of Act 741/2023 for determining criminal background when working with older people. We value experience working with older people and in home care, the ability to make independent decisions, a responsible approach to work and an interest in developing your professional skills. Good interaction and cooperation skills support your work in home care. We also value valid Love medication-care permits, knowledge of both national languages, expertise and familiarity with services delivered at home, a solution-focused approach and a positive attitude to development. We are change-makers. We boldly renew what needs improvement and preserve what works. We invest in the wellbeing of every employee and want to offer our personnel a diverse range of benefits. You will receive €300 per year to use as you wish for cultural, wellbeing, sports or travel-ticket benefits. You can also develop your expertise through Eduhouse and Oppiport’s extensive online training courses.
