Welcome to the nursing team at HUS Youth Psychiatry Pasila Outpatient Clinic. The position is a permanent full-time role within the Psychiatric Youth Psychiatry Helsingin outpatient services at Pasila. The nurse will work with 13–17-year-olds and their families as part of adolescent psychiatric specialized care. Duties include psychiatric nursing and nurse outpatient work, conducting youth examination, assessment, and treatment processes, individual, couple, and group work, and close network collaboration with parties involved in the youth’s everyday life, as well as conducting remote consultations as part of treatment. The job is autonomous and responsible, supported by an experienced multi-professional team. We offer thorough orientation, opportunities for professional development, a varied and impactful role in youth psychiatry outpatient care, and a multidisciplinary team that values cooperation, knowledge sharing, and continuous development. Additionally, you will receive planned orientation with a teaching nurse supervisor, supervision, and diverse training possibilities, with the option of remote work days aligned with the nature of the work. The position is daytime work. Requirements include a licensed nurse degree, good collaboration and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, make decisions and manage one’s own work, and flexibility in changing situations.
