Special educational needs assistant

Would you be the right fit for our team? We are seeking a full-time instructor for STEP-koulutus Lapua campus for a fixed-term appointment for the 2026–2027 academic year. The position starts as soon as a suitable person is found. The role primarily includes guiding and supporting students on the Aino and Oiva tracks for students with special support needs at the folk high school's school. The instructor supports students’ schooling and learning and acts as a teaching partner in lessons. In addition, the instructor handles the daily organizational matters for the track’s students and collaborates with guardians. We are looking for an enthusiastic instructor with good communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility and genuine humanity are valued. Salary and terms follow the private education sector administration and support staff collective agreement. A trial period is in effect, lasting up to half of the employment period.
