Machine Installer – Firmus Partners Oy Join a growing team in the Helsinki metropolitan area! We are looking for a machine installer for Firmus Partners Oy for permanent, full-time work in the Helsinki metropolitan area. If you enjoy practical work, want to learn new things and like seeing tangible results from your work, this role may suit you. Previous experience in machine installation is not necessary. The most important things are a good attitude, an interest in technical work and a desire to develop professionally. You will receive comprehensive onboarding and support from experienced colleagues. What kind of work can you expect? As a machine installer, you will work at construction sites in the Helsinki metropolitan area with various machines and equipment. Sites and tasks vary, so no two working days are alike. Your work will include, for example: • Installing and dismantling construction-site hoists • Tasks related to installing passenger and goods lifts • Installing and dismantling mast platforms • Various mechanical machine and equipment installations • Maintenance and servicing tasks • Electrical installations according to your skills and training The work also takes place at heights and in changing weather conditions, so we expect good physical fitness and a positive attitude towards outdoor work. The work is generally during daytime, Monday to Friday. The employment is permanent and full-time, and the Construction Industry collective agreement applies to the terms of employment. After onboarding, the role includes participating in an on-call rota approximately every four to five weeks. What do we expect from you? You do not need to be an experienced machine-installation professional. What matters to us is that you are motivated to learn and ready to take on a variety of tasks. We hope you have: • An interest in machinery and technical work • An independent and responsible approach to work • A willingness to learn new skills • Familiarity with basic tools • Readiness to work outdoors and at heights • A category B driving licence • A valid Occupational Safety Card Previous experience in construction, installation or maintenance is an advantage, but attitude and willingness to learn are decisive.
