TIG/MAG Welder

We are recruiting an experienced TIG/MAG welder for our client for permanent employment in Ylöjärvi. Our client manufactures industrial valves, piping and other demanding metal products. We are looking for a skilled welder who is proficient in both TIG and MAG welding and can work independently as part of a production team. The successful candidate can produce high-quality products for demanding industrial applications and participate in manufacturing pressure equipment. Duties The work includes, among other things: - TIG and MAG welding - Manufacturing valve and piping components - Welding pipe-to-flange joints - Welding stainless and acid-resistant steels - Fillet and assembly welding - Tasks related to production quality assurance - Manufacturing according to drawings - Cooperation with machining, assembly and quality management Minimum requirements Applicants are required to have: - At least 3 years of practical TIG welding experience in an industrial production environment - Experience welding stainless and acid-resistant steels - The ability to independently make pipe-to-flange joints according to technical drawings - Experience welding pipe sizes DN15–DN200 - Experience with TIG (141) and MAG (135) welding processes - Valid EN ISO 9606-1 welding qualifications or willingness to complete the required qualifications at the start of employment - Experience working in a production environment - An initiative-taking and responsible approach to work - The ability to read technical drawings and work instructions - Good Finnish or English skills We particularly value: - FM5 qualifications (stainless/acid-resistant steel) - Knowledge of FM1 and FM2 material groups - Experience in pressure equipment manufacturing - Experience in production in accordance with PED requirements - BW butt-welding qualifications - Experience with welds subject to VT and PT inspection - Experience welding pipe branch joints - Experience welding on a positioner - Valid TIG and MAG qualifications for stainless materials - Experience with products in the valve, energy, process or chemical industries - Readiness to work evening shifts when needed - Flexibility to perform other machine-shop tasks related to welding preparation, such as cutting and handling pipes We offer: - Permanent employment at a growing Finnish industrial company - Varied and technically demanding duties - The opportunity to develop expertise in the valve and pressure equipment industry - Modern tools and support from a skilled work community - Competitive pay based on your skills - Opportunities for additional qualification training and professional development - A clean and safe working environment Selection process Candidates invited to interview are required to have relevant work experience and qualifications related to the position.
