Rock Sample Preparation Worker

We are looking for a Rock Sample Preparation Worker for our client Endomines Oy in Ilomantsi. Endomines is a Finnish mining and mineral exploration company focused on gold. The company produces gold for the jewellery and electronics industries and creates value by responsibly using natural resources and strengthening Finnish well-being and the economy. Endomines’ production is at the Pampalo gold mine in Ilomantsi, and its exploration focuses on the Karelian Gold Line in eastern Finland. The company is also developing mining projects in Idaho and Montana in the United States. Your work will involve preparing geological samples in the laboratory at the Pampalo mine. Preparation includes crushing rock samples and dividing them into suitable sample sizes. The work may also include filling and emptying a cyanide extraction machine. Previous experience in similar work is an advantage, but is not necessary; you will be trained for the role. We are looking for employees with a positive attitude and an accurate, careful approach to work. Good physical condition is also required.
