Practical Nurse

A Warm welcome to Evijärvi Home Care. We are seeking a practical nurse to join Evijärvi home care on a permanent basis starting 1 September 2026. Initial placement in Evijärvi; working area also includes Lappajärvi and Vimpeli home care teams and, if needed, the entire welfare district home care. The aim of home care is to support the client's functional ability and sense of control so that living at home is possible for as long as possible. Work is done in a multi-professional team in collaboration with the client’s approaches and with a rehabilitative mindset. We offer a pleasant and professionally developing work community. In addition we require a motivated and conscientious approach to work, independent work methods and a desire to provide high-quality, client-centred care. The employee must have valid medication nurse competencies; prior experience in home care is an advantage. The work is mobile and requires a driving license and own car. We also have home care vehicles for work use. The job is mainly two-shift work. The qualification requirement is a social and health care basic qualification, practical nurse (as per Law 559/1994 or 817/2015 eligibility) or a comparable previous qualification. Terms of employment and pay are determined according to the current SOTE collective agreement, the job starting wage is 2767.43 €/month. A probationary period applies during filling of the position. A criminal record extract as per Act 741/2023 must be presented before taking the position. The selected candidate may be required to take a drug test. HYVAEP is a nicotine-free workplace. The position requires vaccination protection under Infectious Diseases Act §48 and evidence of tuberculosis screening under §55. Job interviews will be arranged.
