We are Quant, a global leader in industrial maintenance with around 60 locations and about 1,700 specialists. In Finland we operate as Quant Finland Oy with a strong team of around 250. We are looking for an electrical technician to perform maintenance tasks on rail equipment at Helsinki Ilmala. You will work in a railway environment but specifically on maintenance devices, not on trackside boots. What you will do: handle electrical maintenance of rail equipment in collaboration with an experienced team; ensure devices operate safely, reliably and efficiently; perform electrical installations, repairs and fault finding; preventive maintenance and inspections; measurements, testing and commissioning per guidelines; fault analysis and reporting; update system records and device documentation; closely cooperate with other maintenance teams and the customer to keep daily operations smooth.

- Perform electrical maintenance and fault finding on rail vehicle maintenance devices
- Contribute to safety, reliability and efficiency of equipment
- Carry out preventive maintenance and inspections
- Make measurements, tests and commissioning per guidelines
- Diagnose faults and report to team and supervisor
- Update technical records and documentation
- Collaborate with maintenance team and customer to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance, installation or service work
- Electrical drawings literacy
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use measuring instruments
- Willingness to work in industrial maintenance and with technical equipment
- Safety-first mindset and thorough work methods
- Good Finnish language skills and ability to work both in a team and independently
- Electrical engineering education (e.g., electrician or equivalent)
