About the role

Orion Pharma is seeking a growth driver and production support for a maintenance technician on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2028. The maintenance technician will work in Espoo’s sterile drug manufacturing maintenance of the injection department. The job duties focus on production-line-specific installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs. Some work is performed in clean rooms. We use the SAP maintenance system. Your work includes GMP-compliant documentation and instructions as an essential part. You will work across a diverse set of production lines, equipment, and processes. In the injection department, maintenance technicians work in a staggered partial two-shift pattern (morning shift 7–15, day shift 9–17, and evening shift 15–23, about every six weeks).

Responsibilities

  • Installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work on production lines (unit-specific)
  • Some work performed in clean rooms
  • Documentation and guidance under GMP as a core duty
  • Work across various production lines, equipment and processes

Requirements

  • Technical vocational training (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechanics, automation or equivalent)
  • Good documentation skills and IT basics
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Proficiency in Finnish with satisfactory spoken and written English
  • Ability to work in different shift models
  • Experience in industrial production equipment maintenance is a plus; automation, instrumentation and pneumatics knowledge is an advantage
