Position: Early childhood education teacher at Illenpihan unit in Vantaa. The role involves implementing a sensitive and safe daily routine where the child is at the center of activity. The successful candidate will be prepared to engage and create a day for the child that is full of joy and learning, to read the needs of children and the team and to be ready to use different teaching models. The unit has a high-performing, motivated team. We work with two teachers and one child caretaker, and we are looking for a compassionate substitute teacher who may become permanent later. The unit belongs to Illenpihan varhaiskasvatusyksikkö, together with Illenpuiston day care center. Our workplace is development-oriented, active and positive. We value each other’s strengths and encourage experimentation. We operate ProVaka model to support children's social skills. You will commit to acting according to the model principles with the rest of the unit staff. Finnish language proficiency is required in written and spoken form. The unit is located in Kartanonkoski, with good public transport connections and park-like surroundings. Applications will be reviewed during the posting period.
