Product Owner

We are seeking a Product Owner to develop the core system for workers' compensation insurance within the Toivo project. You will work to develop the Guidewire-based workers' compensation module and ensure business needs, development goals and delivery progress align smoothly. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, testers and other partners, and become part of the PO knowledge community to grow role-specific expertise and support each other in daily work. You will operate in accordance with Safe practices. In this role you will understand the development area from a business perspective and ensure that development supports common goals; identify dependencies and critical areas for progress; prioritize tasks according to business needs and strategy; guide the work of deliverers and testers; ensure the backlog, iteration plans and solutions reflect project priorities and approved features and stories; track iteration progress, participate in Daily stand-ups and support the team’s smooth work; participate in increment planning with Product Managers; report team status and progress to Product Managers; communicate changes, progress and timelines clearly to stakeholders; coordinate dependencies and discussions with especially project testing; develop and document agreed ways of working and ensure adherence.
