Early Years Teacher

Are you a preschool teacher or a social worker in early childhood education? Do you excel in supporting play, learning, and inclusion for children of different ages? Are you capable and willing to act as a responsible leader within your team? If you answered yes, you may be the preschool teacher or social worker we are looking for. We value work experience, flexibility, adaptability to sudden changes, teamwork skills, and initiative in collaboration with the rest of the early childhood education community. You possess a sensitive approach to supporting children's development, positive interaction skills for teamwork development, and cooperation with other actors. You are flexible and have skills to manage a group. Liipola Daycare is international and multicultural, where languages, cultures and diverse backgrounds meet daily; equality is not a goal but a starting point. The multi-use building offers opportunities to implement early childhood education and pre-school education together with other actors. Liipola Daycare hosts ten groups, four of which are pre-school groups; three groups are small groups. The daycare is open weekdays 7:00–17:00; if needed 6:00–18:00. It is located with good transport links. Eligibility requirements are those defined in the Early Childhood Education Act. Applicants who are finishing studies this autumn will be considered. Indicate your eligibility and attach copies of certificates as part of the online application. A criminal background check is required for those working with children, and a certificate for drug testing may be requested. A 6-month probationary period applies.
