We are seeking a dedicated practical nurse to work in harm reduction-based addiction care services. The role focuses on community care and day activities, peer work and environmental work, and also includes duties at health and social counseling points (Vinkkaries) where overdose harm-reduction nursing is provided. There will be involvement in opioid substitution treatment and collaboration with an multidisciplinary team and patient experts to develop activities. The nurse will learn and grow professionally, implementing improved practices with the team. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential. Experience in client-centered care and previous addiction work are valued, as well as Proficient Finnish language skills both spoken and written. The unit is located in Tikkurila, with the main home unit in Myyrmäki; occasional temporary assignments to other units may occur. New unit opening will include weekend shifts occasionally. The position is full-time, permanent, in SOTE collective agreement terms. Vaccination as required by infectious disease law is expected. Salary starts at €2,616.72 per month plus potential experience-based increments.
