Assembly Worker

We are seeking for ABB Distribution Solutions in Vaasa to assemble and test relays. Experience in electronics mass production/assembly is a plus. A good educational background for the task could be vocational school training in electrical or electronics. We value initiative and a proactive attitude. You will regularly use computer systems, including SAP, so basic ICT skills are required. The key is understanding the importance of quality; attention to detail and ability to learn new things are crucial because the products are small and handling components requires precision. The work includes morning, evening and night shifts; it is possible there are only morning and evening shifts, but we require readiness for night shifts as well. The production language is Finnish, English knowledge is considered an advantage. A valid occupational safety card is required before employment or training completed prior to start. The contract is temporary with Barona Teollisuus; strong performers may have a path to longer-term employment. Selected candidates will undergo health check and urine test.
