Nordea Finance IT is looking for an IT Operations Specialist to join the Ops team. The role is part of the Nordea Finance Operations & Technology unit which supports close to 200 applications across 5 legal entities. You will work with colleagues from other Nordic countries and the extended delivery center in India. The IT Operations Specialist will solve incidents, handle deployments, assist in problem management and perform other application management tasks. The team is based in Finland and collaborates with developers and hardware/infrastructure engineers to ensure service availability and adherence to SLAs. Key responsibilities include handling and coordinating production incidents and problems, executing production deployments, processing service requests, and providing technical guidance to teammates. The role requires strong communication, ownership, willingness to learn, and flexibility to work in different shifts including weekends when required. A security clearance will be performed for the person selected for this position.
