Join the Meilahti Isotope Unit at the Meilahti Campus in the Multidisciplinary Isotope Team for a permanent position as a radiographer. HUS Diagnostics Center is Finland's leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. Our main activity area is the specialized care of the HUS consortium and the primary health care of the welfare regions. We also handle laboratory and imaging activities for the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia welfare provinces. The unit operates across eight medical specialties, and we nationally manage several specialized studies as well as teaching and research for the university hospital. In the Diagnostic Center, about 3,500 lab and imaging professionals work at over 170 locations. We are seeking a radiographer for a permanent position in the Diagnostic Center, under the responsibility of Clinical Physiology and Isotope Medicine (KFI) at the Meilahti Isotope Unit. In addition, two radiographers are sought for fixed-term assignments. The unit moved into new premises in 2019. In the KFI area, over 6,500 PET and gamma camera studies are performed annually. The position requires good written and spoken Finnish. Isotope work is performed as day work on weekdays. In our unit, you can work at different workstations using PET-TT and SPET-TT cameras, in patient preparation and in processing examination results. We expect a positive and proactive attitude, and a willingness to develop in your role. You are a team player with good cooperation and communication skills, and you must be able to work independently. The job requires fluent Finnish in writing and speaking. The monthly base salary is 3024.27 euros, with possible seniority pay and other allowances. There is also a productivity-based pay option to potentially raise the monthly earnings.
