Metalpower Oy was founded in 1991 and is part of the Terra Patris group owned by private Finnish owners. The company has production facilities totalling 12,000 square meters in two locations, Tyrnävä and Kempele, and employs about 130 people. We are currently seeking CNC machinists for Kempele unit, for both 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers. The 3-axis role focuses on machine operation and could suit a newly trained individual. More experienced specialists may work with 5-axis machines such as Mori NXR8000, Doosan VCF and Niigata N700. We use a wide range of Fanuc-controlled machines. If you have programming or CAM skills you can use them more broadly, and experienced staff will have opportunities to take on demanding machining and production development responsibilities. Most importantly, we value careful, professional work. You will gain independence, responsibility, and a chance to demonstrate your skills in high-quality products. We expect candidates who may be trained in the field or have a few years of experience; we value skills and a positive, trainable attitude. You should be accustomed to working at the machine and able to perform setups. Programming knowledge, e.g. Mastercam familiarity, is an appreciated plus and may enable broader use of your skills, but is not a requirement. The job is in three shifts, so readiness for shift work is important. Above all, we expect you to do your job carefully, with professional pride and motivation.
