Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher for the 1–3 year old group at Keimolanmäen Daycare, starting 1 September 2026 or by agreement. The daycare operates on a home-area model with six home areas. Each area hosts two child groups and has its own facilities. Our environment supports strong small-group activities in line with the early childhood education plan. We are part of the ProVaka operating model, which emphasizes positive feedback and inclusive practice, fostering a culture of social skills and consistent guidance across staff. The daycare shares buildings with Keimolanmäen school, including dining facilities, a gym, and a yard. We offer comprehensive onboarding and opportunities for mentoring, and a supportive team that values cooperation and professional development. Working hours typically run 7:50–16:09 with one full Sak day in the schedule and weekly Sak time across teachers. Responsibilities include supporting children's development and well-being, using positive pedagogy and visual aids to support communication, and leading one’s own team and work processes with a collaborative approach. We expect enthusiasm for positive group work, multilingual and multicultural inclusion, and the ability to engage in pedagogical play.
