We are looking for a friendly, flexible, and service-minded Receptionist to join our client's team for the 2026–2027 winter season. The employment starts in November and continues until the end of March. The position is located in the Pyhä–Luosto / Sodankylä area in Finnish Lapland, offering the opportunity to work in an international tourism environment. This is a versatile role where your main responsibility is working at the reception, taking care of guests throughout their stay. During busy periods, especially in the evenings, you will also assist the restaurant team with serving guests. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in different roles and is happy to support the team wherever needed. Your responsibilities - Welcoming guests and handling check-in and check-out - Providing excellent customer service and local information - Managing reservations and reception duties - Handling guest inquiries and solving everyday situations - Assisting the restaurant team with serving guests, especially during evening shifts - Working closely with other departments to ensure an excellent guest experience We expect you to have - Previous experience in reception, customer service, or hospitality - Excellent customer service and communication skills - A flexible and positive attitude - The ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good English language skills (additional languages are considered an advantage) - Experience with hotel reservation systems is considered an advantage - An Alcohol Passport is considered an advantage - A major advantage is if you can arrange your own accommodation. A driving licence and access to a car are also considered an advantage.
