Your tasks as a Mechatronics Technician at Scania: You are responsible for the professional execution of maintenance, repair and restoration work on our vehicles and their components. You diagnose electronic, mechanical and hydraulic problems using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and apply your expertise to find solutions. You perform tests, inspections and functional checks to ensure our vehicles meet the highest quality standards. You assist in the installation of additional equipment and special features according to our customers’ specific requirements. You document your work carefully and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes. What you bring: A completed apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification in automotive mechanics. Strong knowledge in electronics, mechanics and hydraulics and the ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems. Ideally, you already have professional experience as a Mechatronics Technician, especially in the field of commercial vehicles. You are responsible, flexible, reliable and enjoy working independently as well as in a team. What we offer you: 5,000 € sign-on bonus, gym subsidy, pay according to tariff, up to 450 € monthly bonus (workshop bonus), group accident and disability insurance, 30 days of vacation, 36-hour week with paid overtime, employee savings scheme, bonuses such as holiday and Christmas pay, leasing of Job Rad and VW vehicles, occupational pension. Responsibilities

  • Document work carefully and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification in automotive mechanics.
  • Strong knowledge in electronics, mechanics and hydraulics; ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
  • Ideally prior experience as a Mechatronics Technician, especially in commercial vehicles.
  • Responsible, flexible, reliable and able to work independently as well as in a team.
