We are now looking for skilled and motivated gynecologists across Finland. Terveystalo employs over 200 gynecologists and obstetricians. Gynecology is one of the largest specialties in the private sector. As a gynecologist at Terveystalo, you can influence Finnish people's work ability and well-being extensively. Outpatient work and minor gynecological procedures are possible in almost all our units. Additionally, surgeries are performed in units in Kamppi/Helsinki, Tampere, Pulssi/Turku, Kuopio, Oulu, Lahti, Jyväskylä, and Joensuu. As a late-stage trainee gynecologist, you can also see general practitioner patients focusing on gynecological care. Currently, we are especially seeking specialists for the following areas: Southern Finland in Espoo and Helsinki units, with flexible evening and weekend hours; Western Finland in Seinäjoki, Kokkola, Forssa, Riihimäki, Hämeenlinna; Eastern and Central Finland in Jyväskylä and Joensuu, with a particular focus on surgical gynecology in Jyväskylä; Northern Finland, especially Kuusamo, Levi, and Rovaniemi. The head of gynecology is Satu Wedenoja, who supports professionals and is responsible for development and medical quality. She also conducts popular 30-minute gynecology lunch seminars on current topics like menopause, hormonal contraception, and pelvic floor physiotherapy, which can later be viewed as recordings.
