Service Supervisor

Job posting for a service supervisor in corporate and construction cleaning in Päijät-Häme, Lahdessa (Lahti). The role requires strong hands-on experience in construction cleaning, knowledge of methods, steps, materials, equipment and machines, and the ability to estimate workload, resources and costs for projects. Main duties include ensuring services start and are carried out with quality, safety and profitability; travel between sites; maintaining active communication with clients and workers; conducting site surveys for building, renovation and refurbishment projects; planning interim and finishing cleans and dust control; estimating quantities, schedules, staffing needs, methods and tools; preparing price estimates and implementation plans for clients; liaising with builders, site managers and other client representatives; starting new projects and organizing practical implementation; training and supervising employees; collaborating with clients to develop the service; and, if needed, mapping and guiding office and staircase cleaning sites. Required experience includes several years of practical construction cleaning, knowledge of methods, work steps, materials, tools and machinery, ability to map sites and estimate hours, resources and costs, and experience working with construction companies and site managers. Candidate should be able to present suitable implementation methods and provide reasoned price estimates. A proactive, organized and responsible work style, the ability to lead daily work and carry commitments to completion, good interpersonal and customer service skills, fluent Finnish, possession of or willingness to obtain a valid Työturvallisuuskortti (occupational safety card) and a B-driver’s license with willingness to travel to different sites. Basic IT skills. Experience in facilities or stairway cleaning, cleaning industry training and safety card are considered pluses.
