Do you want to be part of developing the operations, services, and strategic IT expertise of Finland's largest healthcare provider? We are looking for a Program Manager for HUS IT Administration for a fixed-term employment contract. HUS IT Administration is an active operator that develops and implements new innovations in the healthcare sector. IT Administration is a HUS profit center that provides information system solutions and services to the HUS joint venture, its partners, and subsidiary and associate companies. We are seeking a Program Manager for a fixed-term, three-year employment contract within the Development Steering responsibility area of IT Administration, in the Project Management Services unit. The core task of the Development Steering responsibility area is to renew and unify the operation-based ICT development of the HUS joint venture and to steer the related development and project activities. The work considers overall architecture as well as the scalability and versatility of solutions. Goals are set annually in the operational plan, and long-term goals are established as projects according to the investment program. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the initiation, planning, preparation, and implementation steering of the administrative business management renewal project. The current business management system covers the core functions of finance, human resources, and materials management. The renewal ensures a unified and reliable solution that supports the future needs of these entities. According to the preliminary schedule, the renewal project will be implemented in three phases between 2026 and 2031. In this role, you will act as a link between the management of HUS profit areas and profit centers, IT Administration, and external service providers. You will participate in change management and ensure that the benefits enabled by the project are realized in practice. Successful performance of the task requires: * at least five years of experience in a program manager or similar demanding change project leadership role, as well as leading the work of expert teams * experience in leading extensive business management, ERP, or administrative information system renewals, preferably related to finance, HR, and/or materials management processes * experience in planning, steering, and monitoring multi-year ICT projects and implementation entities affecting several organizational functions * strong expertise in managing the realization of project goals, schedules, finances, risks, dependencies, and benefits, as well as related reporting * ability to build effective cooperation between management, operational representatives, IT Administration, procurement, and external service providers, and to bring demanding matters to decision-making clearly and with justification * an independent, goal-oriented, and solution-focused way of working, good stress tolerance, and a desire to develop common operating methods and strengthen the conditions for project success. Additionally, we value: * knowledge of quality systems, project management methods, as well as ITIL and BTS models * knowledge of the public sector, healthcare, or specialized medical care operating environments * knowledge of HUS operations and IT Administration services and processes. Our office is located in Helsinki with good transport connections. We work hybridly, and remote work is possible 2–3 days a week if the job tasks allow. We offer you an independent and responsible role where you can work on an extensive renewal project. You will be supported by a professional and pleasant work community and have the opportunity to collaborate with various HUS actors and partners. The position-specific salary is €5,950/month plus possible experience and other additions. Employment begins on October 1, 2026, or by agreement, and lasts until October 30, 2029.
