Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join Lystilä Daycare in Vantaa. The role involves teaching in the under-3 group, with shifts from early morning to early evening (6:00–17:10). The daycare currently has multiple educators, a social pedagogue, a child caretaker, and other specialists; you will work within a supportive, interdisciplinary team and participate in the ProVaka model (positive group-based learning). The position is permanent with start date negotiable. In addition to base salary, there are allowances for education qualifications and master’s degree, and a progression-based pay supplement. Requirements include the standard municipal teacher qualification for early childhood education; a strong command of Finnish is preferred, and experience with pre-school teaching is valued. The contract follows the Municipal Education Personnel collective agreement. The role includes occasional evening or night work paid as a onetime monetary compensation. Travel is limited to local activities; the daycare is located near Jumbo shopping center in Vantaa with good transport connections.
