Engineer

Lead Engineer for high-voltage power line general design. The role involves contributing to major 110–400 kV power line projects from early development stages through to preparation for implementation. You will serve as an expert for our clients, shaping technical solutions, feasibility, and cost efficiency based on your view. Responsibilities include preliminary and general planning of 110–400 kV power lines, route and siting studies, conductor profiles and technical solutions, overhead line and underground cable option comparisons, coordination with authorities and stakeholders, expropriation and permit processes, environmental coordination, preparation of tender and procurement documents, and providing technical consulting to clients. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in demanding infrastructure projects and a desire to become a top expert in the field. Requirements include an engineering degree or DI, experience from power line, electrical network, or energy infrastructure projects, understanding of transmission network structures and operation principles, ability to manage large technical entities, proactive and solution-oriented work style, good communication and collaboration skills. Nice-to-have experience includes projects from Fingrid, Caruna, Elenia or other network companies, overhead line and renewables projects, construction and site supervision, project management tasks, and regulatory/expropriation processes.
