Our staff are skilled—we genuinely care about residents and meet each of them as an individual. Your duties include a variety of care tasks and arranging a good, active everyday life for our clients. We are present to support and listen; we share a good everyday life. The role and its objectives As a practical nurse, you play a key role in identifying clients’ individual needs and ensuring high-quality care. You work professionally, respecting each client’s right to self-determination and treating them with dignity. The work includes basic care tasks, medication, helping with meals, maintaining general cleanliness, reporting, and care and support. You provide physical support with daily activities and support clients through different stages of memory disorders. We actively use the principles of kinesthetics in our work. Participation in end-of-life care is also emphasized. We expect you to have: - A practical nurse qualification and registration in the Suosikki register maintained by the Finnish Supervisory Agency. - A social and healthcare professional card (Kanta certificate card). - Readiness to demonstrate your medication-care competence by obtaining a medication permit within four months of starting employment and regularly during employment. - A hygiene passport. - Readiness to work three shifts. - Good Finnish-language skills, needed for documentation and interactions with different client and cooperation groups. - Vaccination protection in accordance with section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act. - Experience working with people with memory disorders. Rinnekodit is a smoke-free and substance-free workplace. For the person selected, we will check a criminal record extract as required by the Act on the Supervision of Social Welfare and Health Care. The extract must be no more than six months old.
