Healthcare Assistant

In home care you perform meaningful, rewarding and valuable work in clients' homes in varied environments. The work is independent, but you work as part of a multiprofessional team. Tasks include basic care and nursing tasks, such as wound care, medication administration and sample collection. We value nursing competence, development‑oriented work attitude, flexibility and good interpersonal skills. Work in home care is mobile and requires a driver’s license and the possibility to use your own car. We also interview during the application period. The job site name and address: Pohjan kotihoito, Pohjantie 3 F-H, 10420 Pohjankuru. Working hours: shift work 114 h 45 min, two‑shift arrangement. The position is permanent. Medication management competence is verified with LOVe medication examination and simulations. Eligibility: to work under the title Lähihoitaja requires the right to use a protected professional designation. The position requires vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act §48 and tuberculosis screening under §55. The selected applicant must provide a police record extract under Act 741/2023 §28. Random drug testing may be requested under the Västra Nylands wellbeing district drug program.
