We are recruiting a part-time (75%) healthcare assistant for the Ostrobothnian Welfare Region. The initial placement is in home care in the southern area 1, Northern Mustasaari/Koivulahti. The work starts on 14 September 2026 or by agreement. The job includes both regular home visits and remote visits. A B-driver's license, own car and a medical drug licence are required. Eligibility: a healthcare assistant qualification or an equivalent degree according to the Decree on health care professionals (564/1994) or the Decree on social welfare professionals (153/2016). Proficiency in both national languages (Finnish and Swedish) in spoken and written form. Those who have completed a healthcare assistant degree are required to register in the two professional registers, Terhikki and Suosikki, maintained by the Permit and Supervision Authority. In addition, the selected candidate must have a valid vaccination certificate in accordance with the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) §48 and a criminal record extract as referred to in the Criminal Records Act §6(2). Trial period applied.
