Excavator Operator, cable trenching – Turku We are seeking a skilled excavator operator for cable trenching tasks in the Turku area. If you are proficient with excavator operation and can work independently with careful workmanship, this could be a long-term position for you. The work starts as soon as a suitable candidate is found and it is a permanent employment. You will mainly work on cable trenching tasks at various construction sites around Turku. The job requires good machine handling, precision, and the ability to coordinate with other workers and the environment. Your days will include digging and refilling cable trenches, autonomous excavator operation, groundworks related to cables and civil engineering, working at different sites, collaborating with the rest of the crew, and maintaining cleanliness and safety on site, with occasional other earthmoving tasks. You will be able to use your professional skills and see the tangible results of your work on site. What we expect from you: some experience as an excavator operator, ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work, experience with cable trenching or other infra/earthmoving tasks, good machine handling skills, careful and safe work attitude, initiative and a positive work ethic, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, willingness to work on Turku-area sites. A valid occupational safety card and other required site cards are a plus. Prior experience with cable trenching is a definite plus, but the most important is that excavator use and site work are familiar to you.
