About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join Illenpihan unit in Vantaa. The role involves implementing a sensitive and safe daily routine where the child is truly at the center of activity. You should be able to read the needs of children and the team and be prepared to utilize various activity models. You will work in a high-energy team of two teachers and one caregiver, and we are looking for a teacher substitute who may transition to a permanent position. The unit is part of the Illenpihan early childhood education unit, together with Illenpuisto (Illenpuisto daycare). Our work culture is development-focused, active and positive. We value each other’s strengths and encourage experimentation. Our operating culture is built on evidence-based practice, using the ProVaka model to support children’s social skills. You will commit to acting according to the model’s principles in collaboration with the rest of the unit staff. Good written and spoken Finnish language skills are required.
