Retail Sales Assistant

Vastuumyyjä for the fresh department team, Jounin Kauppa, Äkäslompolo. Jounin Kauppa is the largest K-Market in Finland and is located beside the Ylläs mountain. Our broad range of groceries and everyday goods serves locals and many holidaymakers. We are passionate about a satisfying customer experience and continuously developing the store. Jounin Kauppa is part of the complete Lapland and holiday experience. We are looking for a salesperson whose main duties are in the fresh departments: fruits and vegetables, bakery, dairy and fats, meat and processed meats, and ready meals. You will participate in orders, shelf maintenance and campaign implementation. The role includes work across departments including unloading loads and cashier duties. The work is varied and seasonal; we expect you to respond quickly to changing situations and customer flows. May–November involve work across departments with busier periods; December to April mostly within your own team. The position is permanent and full-time (37.5 h/week). Start date is upon agreement. The role is mainly morning-oriented. We expect: experience in retail and related tasks; strong customer service skills; responsible and proactive attitude; flexibility and willingness to work across departments; fluent Finnish and English (please note that in this position Finnish is mandatory); knowledge of the K-system is considered an advantage.
