Field Technical Lead

The Field Technical Lead will drive on-site execution of new data center deployments, leading technical teams and contractors while ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery. This role requires frequent travel to data centers during key deployment phases and candidates should be located in Israel to be considered. Responsibilities include: technically leading on-site deployment of GPU-based compute clusters, storage systems, and high-speed networking in data centers; supporting Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and tracking project delivery activities; organizing and supervising contractors, vendors, and internal technical teams to ensure smooth execution of deployment workstreams; proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical and operational issues during deployments; maintaining clear and accurate project documentation (deployment plans, risk logs, issue trackers, acceptance reports); ensuring transparent communication with all stakeholders with regular status updates and escalation of blockers; collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, networking, operations, and supply chain; participating in related project activities such as automation initiatives, process improvements, and post-deployment support when required. Desired profile includes: proactive ownership-driven leadership; hands-on experience with data center infrastructure deployments (preferably HPC or AI-focused); strong knowledge of data center operations (racking, structured cabling, power planning, cooling); technical knowledge of GPU servers, compute nodes, storage platforms, and high-speed networking; experience with project delivery frameworks and management of subcontractors; excellent problem-solving and on-site decision-making; strong English communication; ability to document processes and produce clear deployment/status reports. Bonus: knowledge of construction project structures, HPC, automation tools, PMP/PRINCE2 or similar certifications.
